From humble beginnings in 2005 as K. Lund do Brasil, we’ve navigated a remarkable journey—today standing as Imenco do Brasil, a proud branch of the innovative Imenco Group, founded in Norway in 1979.
The start
Imenco do Brasil was established in 2005 and, since 2023, has been part of the Norwegian Imenco Group — a company founded in 1979 that has grown steadily through the development of innovative solutions and strategic acquisitions. Today, the Imenco Group operates across five key sectors: offshore oil & gas, offshore renewables, aquaculture, marine & naval, and industrial markets.
In Brazil, the company began as K. Lund do Brasil, a subsidiary of the well-established Norwegian firm K. Lund Offshore, known for its long-standing expertise in the oil and gas industry. Over the years, we have earned a strong reputation for delivering high-quality lifting and handling solutions, as well as equipment maintenance services tailored to the demanding needs of the offshore sector.
Our headquarters are located in Rio das Ostras (RJ), within the Special Business Zone (ZEN), where we operate from a modern 6,000 m² facility. Here, we offer a comprehensive portfolio of equipment and services, supported by responsive and specialized technical assistance.
We are recognized as a market leader in lifting and handling technologies, subsea corrosion protection retrofits, subsea cameras, lighting, laser and electronic systems, and aviation refueling solutions. Our expertise also includes CCTV surveillance, underwater acoustic communication, precision machining, hydraulic systems, diving technologies, and turnkey EPC project execution.
