20Te (& 40Te) Subsea Winch

Introduction

Imenco is developing an innovative Subsea Winch designed for efficient tugging, dragging, and wellhead tethering operations. This ground-breaking system eliminates the need for seabed anchoring or piles, utilizing its gravity base weight for secure positioning. This feature significantly reduces vessel and rig installation time and costs.

Our standard Subsea Winch offers a Safe Working Load (SWL) of 20 tons, with the flexibility to be upsized or downsized to meet specific project requirements. Engineered for operational ease, the winch is both ROV and diver friendly and can be directly operated via a work-class ROV or a hydraulic downline.

Key features include a Zero Leak Ø55mm Valve Stab Interface, a 500-meter drum capacity, and self-contained cathodic protection for up to one year of submersion. The system also boasts a fully depth-compensated winch gearbox and hydraulic motor, a vented gravity base, subsea specification paint, and an overall design prioritizing ease of use for both robotic and human intervention.
