Introduction
Coalescer elements are used in the first stage of filter water separators. Their primary function is to merge small water droplets into larger ones.
These larger droplets, having a higher density than fuel, settle into the water sump of the filter water separator. Additionally, the coalescer elements trap particles such as sand, rust, and other contaminants.
